Present Simple Tense क्या होता है?
Present Simple Tense (या Present Indefinite Tense) अंग्रेजी भाषा का एक बेसिक और बहुत महत्वपूर्ण tense है जिसका प्रयोग हम उन कामों के लिए करते हैं जो रोज़ होते हैं, बार-बार होते हैं या हमेशा सच होते हैं
यह tense हिंदी वाक्यों में ता है, ती है, ते हैं जैसे शब्दों से पहचाना जाता है
उदाहरण के लिए –
- वह स्कूल जाता है
- मैं चाय पीती हूँ
- वे क्रिकेट खेलते हैं
Present Simple Tense का Structure (संरचना)
1. Affirmative Sentences (सकारात्मक वाक्य)
Structure:
Subject + Verb (base form या s/es) + Object
Examples:
- He reads a newspaper
- She sings well
- I play football
- They cook dinner
अगर subject “he, she, it” या कोई एकवचन नाम है, तो verb में “s” या “es” जोड़ा जाता है
2. Negative Sentences (नकारात्मक वाक्य)
Structure:
Subject + do/does + not + base form of verb + Object
Examples:
- I do not drink coffee
- He does not go to the gym
- They do not watch TV
“He/She/It” के साथ “does not” और “I/We/You/They” के साथ “do not” आता है
3. Interrogative Sentences (प्रश्नवाचक वाक्य)
Structure:
Do/Does + Subject + base form of verb + Object?
Examples:
- Do you eat rice?
- Does she dance well?
- Do they live in India?
Present Simple Tense का प्रयोग कब और कैसे होता है?
1. आदतें या नियमित कार्य
- I wake up at 7 AM
- He goes to office every day
2. सामान्य सत्य (General Truths)
- The Earth revolves around the Sun
- Water boils at 100°C
3. फिक्स्ड शेड्यूल / टाइम टेबल
- The train departs at 6 PM
- School starts at 10 o’clock
4. निर्देश (Instructions or Directions)
- Open the window
- Mix the flour and sugar
Verb में “s” या “es” जोड़ने के नियम
अगर verb सामान्य रूप से खत्म होता है, तो उसमें “s” जोड़ते हैं
- read → reads
- walk → walks
अगर verb का अंत -ss, -sh, -ch, -x, या -o से होता है तो “es” लगाते हैं
- go → goes
- watch → watches
- wash → washes
अगर verb “y” पर खत्म होता है और उससे पहले consonant है, तो “y” हटाकर “ies” लगाते हैं
- study → studies
- try → tries

ध्यान रखें कि negative और interrogative sentences में verb हमेशा base form में ही आता है
