Simple Past Tense क्या होता है?
Simple Past Tense जिसे हिंदी में साधारण भूतकाल कहते हैं, वह Tense होता है जिसका प्रयोग भूतकाल में घटित कार्य या घटनाओं को बताने के लिए किया जाता है।
यह किसी कार्य के पूरा हो जाने को दर्शाता है जो अतीत में हुआ।
हिंदी में पहचान:
वाक्य के अंत में अक्सर “था, थी, थे” जैसे शब्द आते हैं

- मैं कल बाज़ार गया था।
- वह स्कूल गई थी।

Simple Past Tense – वाक्य रचना (Sentence Structure)
Affirmative Sentences (सकारात्मक वाक्य)
Structure:
Subject + verb (V2) + object
Examples:
- He went to school. – वह स्कूल गया था।
- I ate an apple. – मैंने एक सेब खाया।
Note: इसमें क्रिया का दूसरा रूप (V2) प्रयोग होता है।
Negative Sentences (नकारात्मक वाक्य)
Structure:
Subject + did not + verb (V1) + object

- He did not go to school. – वह स्कूल नहीं गया था।
- I did not eat an apple. – मैंने सेब नहीं खाया।
Interrogative Sentences (प्रश्नवाचक वाक्य)
Structure:
Did + subject + verb (V1) + object + ?
