Present Indefinite Tense ko Simple Present Tense bhi kaha jata hai. Yeh batata hai ki koi action bar-bar hota hai, ya ek general fact hai. Is tense me action ke hone ka samay “present” hota hai, par wo ek regular habit ya truth batata hai.

Examples:
• Birds fly in the sky.
• He drinks milk every morning.
• We live in Bangladesh.
• They study English every day.

Har sentence me kriya ka action repeat hota hai, ya wo ek sachai batata hai.

Structure of Present Indefinite Tense

Affirmative Subject + verb (first form) + object He plays football
Negative Subject + do/does + not + verb (first form) + object He does not play football
Interrogative Do/Does + subject + verb (first form) + object Does he play football?

Helping Verbs:

  3. Negative aur Interrogative form me “do” ya “does” ka use hota hai.
  4. “Does” lagne par verb me “s” nahi lagta.
  5. Subject aur verb me agreement hona chahiye.

• He plays cricket. (Correct)
• He does not play cricket. (Correct)
• He does not plays cricket. (Wrong)

Present Indefinite Tense in Passive Voice

Jab sentence me focus karne wale par nahi, balki kaam par hota hai, tab Passive Voice ka use hota hai.

Structure:
Object + is/am/are + past participle of verb + by + subject
